Executive Experience
As President Patrick Coyle brings over twenty-four years of executive experience developing and constructing approximately 60 developments totaling over 10,000 units of complex multi-family, mixed use and single-family communities. With a foundation as a family owned homebuilder he transitioned into the multi-family industry in 1989. His knowledge, motivation and ability to implement effective policies and procedures enable him to create highly competitive and productive team environments.
As a Director and Construction Manager from 1989 to 2001 Patrick worked with Independent Developers and General Contractors, Trammel Crow Residential and Irvine Apartment Communities. He directed and managed land development and construction from mass grading through completion of several hundred units on a series of large, complex developments from hillsides to marinas.
In 2001 Patrick joined the KB Home South Bay team As Director of Multi-Family Operations to develop their high-density condominium business. In early 2002 he assumed management responsibilities of all operations. In 2005 as Senior Vice President he managed Operations, Purchasing, Studio, and Land Development. He developed a team of highly successful managers to fully integrate the high-density condominium product line into a predominately single family business. Each of the five multi-family developments were built under budget while meeting all delivery goals and resetting the bar on quality throughout the business. He participated in the strategic management of both the South Bay and KB Urban division in Los Angeles, leading each division to increased profits resulting from reduced construction costs, shorter cycle times, higher operating efficiencies, and increased JDP customer satisfaction. Under his leadership KB Home became know as one of the few public home builders to have achieved succes in high density development.
